The 7Artisans Spectrum 14mm T2.9 Prime Cine Lens for Leica L is a full-metal ultra-wide cinema prime built for full-frame and Super 35 mirrorless cameras. At 14mm with a T2.9 maximum aperture, it suits cinematographers and video shooters working in tight spaces, interiors, documentary, or narrative projects requiring a wide, immersive field of view. Compatibility with Leica L mount makes it a direct fit for cameras from Panasonic, Sigma, and Leica in the L-Alliance ecosystem, and its Spectrum series design integrates cleanly into a matched cine lens set.
Optically, the lens uses 13 elements in 9 groups, including 2 aspherical elements, 3 extra-low dispersion elements, and 5 high-refractive index elements, working together to control chromatic aberration, distortion, and spherical aberration across the 114° full-frame field of view. A 10-blade rounded iris delivers smooth bokeh, and the declicked aperture ring enables silent, stepless iris pulls. Cine-standard 0.8 MOD gears on both the focus and iris rings share a consistent position with other Spectrum primes, and a 270° focus throw supports precise manual focus and follow-focus operation. Dual-sided focus and aperture markings in both meters and feet, an 82mm front filter thread, and minimal focus breathing round out the feature set.
