Used Brightin Star 50mm f/.95 Lens for Canon EF-M

The Brightin Star 50mm f/0.95 is a manual focus prime lens designed for Canon EF-M mount APS-C mirrorless cameras, offering an exceptionally wide maximum aperture at an accessible price point. On APS-C, the 50mm focal length delivers a 80mm full-frame equivalent perspective, making it well suited for portrait, low-light, and available-light photography. The f/0.95 aperture allows for significant light gathering in dim conditions and produces a very shallow depth of field with smooth background separation.

As a fully manual lens with no electronic communication to the camera body, the Brightin Star 50mm f/0.95 is built around deliberate, hands-on shooting. The optical construction uses 10 elements in 9 groups, with a 10-blade aperture diaphragm. A retractable integrated lens hood is included. The lens body is constructed primarily of metal and features both a focus ring and a clicked aperture ring with full-stop detents. Minimum focus distance is 0.5m, and the lens produces a characteristic rendering at maximum aperture with notable vignetting and a softness wide open that sharpens considerably when stopped down.
