Used Nikkor-N Auto 35mm f/1.4 Lens
The Nikkor-N Auto 35mm f/1.4 is a manual focus wide-angle prime lens built for the non-AI Nikon F mount, introduced in 1970 and holding the distinction of being the fastest 35mm lens Nikon has ever produced under the Nikkor name. The "N" designation is a holdover from Nikon's older naming convention, where letters stood for the number of optical elements.
Its bright f/1.4 maximum aperture makes it well suited to low-light shooting and situations calling for a shallow depth of field at a wide-angle focal length. The lens uses a nine-blade diaphragm and Close-Range Correction (CRC), a system that shifts internal lens groups independently during focusing to help maintain image quality at close distances. As a non-AI lens, it's compatible with older Nikon F-mount film bodies like the F, F2, and Nikkormat series, and can be used on later Nikon cameras that allow the AI metering coupling to be disengaged.
