Used Rokinon 100mm T3.1 UMC ED MA Lens for Canon EF
The Rokinon 100mm T3.1 ED UMC Macro Cine DS is a full-frame telephoto macro lens built for filmmakers and hybrid shooters working with Canon EF mount cameras. At 100mm, it covers portraiture, close-up work, and candid shooting with equal confidence, and its 1:1 macro reproduction ratio and 12-inch minimum focus distance make it a genuine dual-purpose tool without any additional accessories. The Cine DS designation means this lens is purpose-built for video production, with a de-clicked aperture ring for smooth, silent iris pulls and dual-sided calibrated T-stop and focus distance scales so both the operator and focus puller can read the lens from either side of a rig.
Construction centers on 15 glass elements in 12 groups, including ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass to control chromatic aberration and hybrid aspherical elements for sharp, distortion-free rendering. Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC) minimizes flare and ghosting while keeping color consistent across the Rokinon Cine DS lineup. Standardized focus and iris gear positions shared with other Cine DS lenses mean follow focus units and iris motors don't need to be repositioned between lens changes, a meaningful workflow advantage on set.
