Used Rokinon 24mm T1.5 ED AS UMC II Lens for Canon EF
The Rokinon 24mm T1.5 Cine DS is a manual focus wide-angle cine lens built for Canon EF-mount cameras with full-frame coverage, delivering an 84.1° field of view. Its fast T1.5 maximum aperture is well suited to low-light filmmaking, interiors, and wide establishing shots where a shallow depth of field adds separation.
The lens uses industry-standard geared focus and iris rings shared across the Cine DS lineup, so swapping lenses on the same rig doesn't require readjusting a follow focus setup. The aperture ring is de-clicked for smooth iris pulls, and focus and T-stop scales are marked on both sides of the lens for focus pullers working from either side. Hybrid aspherical elements help minimize distortion and chromatic aberration, and Ultra Multi-Coating keeps color rendition consistent when matched with other lenses in the Cine DS line. A removable petal-shaped hood is included for flare protection when shooting without a matte box.
