Used Yashica Auto Yashinon-DS 50mm f/1.9 Lens
The Yashica Auto Yashinon-DS 50mm f/1.9 is a manual focus standard prime lens built for M42 screw mount SLR cameras. It was Yashica's standard kit lens on several TL-Electro and related models, sharing much of its design with the higher-end Auto Yashinon f/1.7.
The lens uses a 6-element, 5-group optical design with a fully automatic diaphragm, meaning the aperture stays wide open for viewing and focusing, then stops down automatically at the moment of exposure. Its all-metal, single-coated construction is typical of Yashica's M42-era lenses, and it delivers smooth, creamy bokeh rather than the swirly rendering seen on some other vintage lenses of the era.
