In this fun and enlightening hands-on workshop, we will begin by exploring some of the science behind creativity. Armed with a better understanding of how creativity works, Joe will help you lay the foundation to be able to develop more creative skills and become a better, more creative photographer, with tips that will help you to see and think about your subjects in ways that you never have before.

Cameras, lenses, lights and modifiers are all tools that photographers use but these are NOT what makes a great beauty shot or portrait. Great images require planning and collaboration and are the result of great problem solving. Joe will take us through a deep dive of his entire process, and he will detail how he plans and executes a shoot. Covering everything from shoot prep with both his subjects and makeup artists sharing his communication and posing techniques as well of some of his favorite beauty lighting arrangements.
