Used Nikkor 135mm f/3.5 AI Lens
The Nikkor 135mm f/3.5 AI is a compact manual focus short telephoto for the Nikon F mount, made from 1977 to 1981. 135mm is a classic portrait focal length, and the lens is small enough to carry for street and travel shooting too, with a built-in retractable lens hood.
The optical design uses 4 elements in 4 groups with multi-coating and a 7-blade diaphragm that stops down to f/32. The all-metal build has a smooth, long-throw focus ring, the lens focuses as close as about 4.3 feet, and the 52mm filter thread takes standard filters. It has both the older meter prongs and the AI ridge, so it fits older bodies as well as AI-coupled ones, and with an adapter it works well for manual focus portraits on mirrorless cameras.
- 135mm focal length with an f/3.5 maximum aperture
- 4 elements in 4 groups
- 7-blade diaphragm stopping down to f/32
- Built-in retractable lens hood
- Minimum focusing distance of 4.3' (1.3m)
- 52mm filter size, with both meter prongs and the AI ridge
