Used Zoom-Nikkor 50-135mm f/3.5 AI-S Lens
The Zoom-Nikkor 50-135mm f/3.5 AI-S is a manual focus push/pull zoom for the Nikon F mount, sold from 1982 to 1984 with a constant f/3.5 aperture. The 50-135mm range runs from a normal view out to a portrait-length telephoto, which suits portraits, events, and general shooting.
The optical design is a complex 16 elements in 13 groups with a 7-blade diaphragm, and the front filter ring doesn’t rotate, which makes polarizers easier to use. A macro setting at 50mm focuses as close as 2 feet, while normal focusing goes down to 4.3 feet. The all-metal body takes 62mm filters and weighs about 1.5 pounds. The AI-S indexing works with AI-S-compatible Nikon bodies, and with an adapter it works well for manual focus telephoto shooting on mirrorless cameras.
