Rokinon 16mm T2.2 Cine ED AS UMC CS Lens
The Rokinon 16mm T2.2 Cine ED AS UMC CS is a manual focus wide-angle cine lens built for Canon EF-mount cameras, producing an image circle that covers APS-C sized sensors or smaller. Its 79.5° angle of view and fast T2.2 maximum aperture make it well suited to landscapes, architecture, and tight interior locations where a wide field of view matters.
The lens uses industry-standard 0.8 pitch gearing on both the focus and aperture rings for attaching a follow focus unit, and the aperture ring is de-clicked for smooth, quiet iris pulls while shooting. Focus, aperture, and depth of field markings are positioned on the side of the lens to aid focus pullers, who typically operate from that side of the camera. UMC coating helps reduce flare and maintain contrast in bright conditions.
